Dear RBES Parents, 

There have been quite a few questions about submission of volunteer packets. This year all volunteers who are around children in a DoD sanctioned program that may involve unsupervised interactions with a student(s) under the age of 18 must be cleared and vetted. We will include the documents in this newsletter for future reference. 

Documentation submitted via email (preferred) to the Volunteer Coordinator (Ms. Peabody) should be saved as individual documents. You will fill out four forms: 

1. PCAS Volunteer Intake sheet 
2. Volunteer Agreement (DD2793) 
3. Basic Criminal History and Statement of Admission (DD2981) 
4. Client’s Consent Statement for Release of Treatment Information (DA Form 5018) 

Once submitted, it will take approximately five weeks for processing. Volunteer will then receive an email from PERSEC to schedule their appointment for fingerprint processing and should be scheduled within two weeks of being contacted. 

PERSEC will make a determination within 5-10 business days of receiving fingerprints and Volunteer Coordinator will receive email about when/if volunteer can start assisting on campus.
