National Volunteer’s Week: A Heartfelt Celebration of Our Amazing Volunteers!
As we celebrate National Volunteer’s Week, we find ourselves reflecting on the incredible contributions made by our volunteers who consistently uplift and support our school community. This special week serves as a reminder of the power of giving back and highlights the essential roles that our volunteers play in enriching the educational experiences of our students. We would like to take this opportunity to extend our most heartfelt gratitude to our devoted parent volunteers who lend their time, skills, and talents within our classrooms. Your unwavering commitment to supporting our teachers and students not only enhances the overall learning environment but also fosters a warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes our school feel like home. Whether you are assisting with lesson plans, organizing engaging classroom activities, or sharing your own expertise, your contributions are invaluable and deeply appreciated!
We also want to shine a light on our extraordinary Parent-Teacher-Student Association (PTSA), whose dedication and hard work ensure that our school community remains vibrant and engaged. Through your efforts, we have hosted countless memorable events, facilitated essential programs, and provided opportunities that benefit all our students. Your unwavering support plays a critical role in enriching the educational journey for our students, and we are immensely grateful for the many ways you help make our school a better place for everyone.Â
If you haven’t yet had the chance to volunteer, we encourage you to get involved! It’s never too late to join us in our mission to create a nurturing and enriching environment for our students. There are numerous ways to participate, whether it be by assisting in classrooms, helping with school-wide events, or becoming active members in the PTSA. Your involvement, no matter how big or small, makes a world of difference in the lives of our students and the overall culture of our school community.
Let us all take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude for the vital contributions made by our volunteers. Your kindness, time, and energy strengthen our sense of community and enrich the learning experiences of our students every day. Thank you for being an integral part of our school family and for demonstrating the spirit of giving that makes our school a truly extraordinary place!

Cari Meister Visits RBES
We had an amazing visit from author Cari Meister, who’s written hundreds of books for kids and contributes to articles on PebbleGo as well! Our students loved learning how she creates characters, builds stories, and brings books to life. They had a blast with her hands-on activities and story bags. Thanks to Ms. McGoldrick and our PTSA for making this special event possible. It was the perfect way to wrap up Read Across America!

Spring into Fitness: Celebrating Growth and Movement
As spring brings new energy, our Physical Education classes are wrapping up the year with the third and final FitnessGram assessment. This important tool helps us measure growth in cardiovascular endurance, strength, flexibility, and more, highlighting how far students have come since fall. Aligned with DODEA and SHAPE America standards, our program focuses on developing physically literate students with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to stay active for life. This season, we also emphasize teamwork, self-reflection, and a love of movement through partner activities, cooperative games, and student-led choices. More than just numbers, the FitnessGram helps students see their progress and feel proud of their effort. It’s about building habits, celebrating growth, and having fun while moving.
As we wrap up another exciting year of PE, the spring FitnessGram stands as a reminder of how far our students have come—not just in physical skills, but in their journey toward becoming physically literate individuals who value teamwork and embrace active lifestyles.
With hearts pumping and smiles wide, our students are springing into health and the future with confidence, energy, and a lifelong love of movement.
This spring, our students are not just finishing strong, they’re springing into a future of health, confidence, and lifelong activity.

Thanks to the PTSA for all their help with the Blue Ribbon Celebration, Read Across America Month, the recent dance, STEM activities, and many other activities they have sponsored this year.

3rd Graders Exploring Various Technology Platforms
Have you ever dreamed of making your posters and writing pieces look super cool? With the help of AI (Artificial Intelligence) and Adobe, our 3rd graders are learning how to turn their work into creative, professional-looking projects.  Our third graders have been working with their teachers to learn how to use Adobe Creative Cloud and many of the elements in the program. They began by learning how to tell the computer, the AI generator, the details of who, where, and what they wanted in their computer-generated picture. Then they learned how to create an image by embossing images into each other, erasing backgrounds, and adding elements to create one unique picture.  They used Adobe Creative Cloud tools to create eye-catching posters on different topics. The students have been learning to explore the tools and be creative.  🎨✨
